Old Mountain Studios Is Now Studio Portal

If you ever booked a session with Old Mountain Studios, you're in the right place. Same room, same team, same multi-camera setup in Salt River — new name.

We're Studio Portal now. The work hasn't changed; the name just finally matches the ambition.

What's actually different

Honestly, not much you'd notice on a session day. We're still at 15 Brickfield Road in Salt River, Cape Town. Matthew and the team are still the ones behind the camera. Your files are still backed up the same day you shoot.

What's new is everything around the work: a proper home for our packages, online booking you can do in a couple of minutes, and room to grow into the productions we've always wanted to take on — company profiles, commercials, music videos, and shoots out on location across South Africa.

Why the change

“Old Mountain” is where we started. “Studio Portal” is where we're going — a single door to podcasts, video and content worth watching. Same craft, bigger canvas.

Nothing you need to do
